Tommy Haas si è aggiudicato il torneo ATP 250 di Vienna (e501.355, cemento).
Il tennista tedesco ha superato in finale l’olandese Robin Haase, n.63 ATP, con il punteggio di 63 46 64 dopo 2 ore e 6 minuti di partita.

Per Tommy è il 15 esimo successo nel circuito maggiore ed è la seconda vittoria nel 2013.

Nel terzo set il tedesco sotto per 2 a 4, piazzava da quel momento un parziale di quattro game consecutivi, vincendo set e match per 6 a 4.
Da segnalare che Haas sul 3 a 4, ha annullato una pericolosa palla break, che avrebbe portato l’olandese a servire per il match sul 3 a 5 e poi sul 4 pari ha piazzato il break decisivo (ai vantaggi).
