Passo indietro di Arnaldi rispetto a Vienna. Il britannico è un altro di quei giocatori compresi nella sua attuale fascia di ranking, come quelli battuti nei giorni scorsi. Invece i colpi da fondo sono stati incerti, il servizio balbettante e l’attaccamento alla partita inadeguato. Tre passi indietro, un passo avanti.
Arnaldi pare abbia interrotto quel cammino di crescita intrapreso anni fa che l’ aveva portato a essere numero 30 del Mondo .
E’ un peccato perche’il sodalizio col buon Ale Perrone era e rimane solido..a questo punto speriamo solo che il ligure possa ritrovare nella prossima stagione quelle buone sensazioni che l’ avevano proiettato in alto e a far parte della nazionale di Davis colla quale ,tra l’ altro aveva vinto il titolo nel 2023.
Il repertorio tecnico c’ e’ tutto..in questo momento e’ venuta meno,verosimilmente un po’ di fiducia.
