Cmq parliamoci chiaro…con Djokovic e Murray che non si sa quando rientreranno….con gente come wawrinka e Nishikori che sono appena rientrati, ma hanno giocato poco e nulla nella seconda parte della passata stagione….con gente come Tsonga e Raonic alle prese con perenni problemi fisici e quindi sempre a mezzo servizio…con il sistema dei best18 che tende a favorire i 30enni e quindi lo stesso Fabio….con un livello storico obiettivamente mediocre….ecco prima che si consolidano in classifica le nuove leve…Fabio ha una grande chance storica di entrare nella top10….A COMPROVA, ci sono arrivati i vari Carreno o Andersson, che in altri periodi storici la top10 l’avrebbero vista con il binocolo.
Insomma questo è un periodo storico favorevolissimo per “pomparsi”la classifica…in ragione di ciò, i 320 punti non presi a Rio (era un torneo abordabilissimo…con lo stesso Schwartzman che sta giocando maluccio) sono un’opportunità non colta

Daje ragazzi, piano con la storia del top 10. Per favore, non mettiamo, come da pessima abitudine italiota, nessuna pressione a questo ragazzo. E che caspita, il 2014 dovrebbe avere insegnato a tutti qualcosa; lo avete già dimenticato lo sfogo del “sono io a metterci la faccia”?
Da un annetto a questa parte sta facendo il suo dovere e pure bene, la costanza c’è e vince le partite che deve vincere, e questo va benissimo. Deve continuare a vivere alla giornata come sta facendo, e se poi son rose, come si dice, fioriranno, altrimenti va bene lo stesso.
Per quel che mi riguarda meglio top 20 sempre e giocando sul pezzo come adesso, che la top 10 a tutti i costi col rischio di scoppiare sul più bello.
E adesso sotto con Verdasco, poi anche se non dovesse andare in finale o addirittura arrivare a vincere questo torneo, non importa, che vada avanti così a tutta fiducia e le soddisfazioni non mancheranno di arrivare per lui e per noi senza chiederle a gran voce.

Schwartzman è tignoso, ma a mio parere non così propositivo da partire già vittorioso contro un buon Fognini.
Anche a prescindere da Fabio e Seppi ottimo inizio di anno per i nostri…BR per Travaglia Berrettini e Sonego. Caruso e Napo dentro i 200 ( erano fuori a fine anno) lo stesso Quinzi ha guadagnato circa 50 posizioni…

Fabio non si deve mettere pressione addosso circa la classifica , ricordate cosa accadde 4 anni fá a partire da quel match con Tsonga a Montecarlo ? Io sì e sinceramente non vorrei che si ripetesse . Quindi testa su ogni punto di ogni partita e poi si vedrà, anche perchè può esprimere un livello di tennis sicuramente più alto di quello offerto in queste settimane.
Lo scrissi già l’anno scorso che Fognini avrebbe avuto l’opportunità per via di una congiuntura molto favorevole di arrivare in top 10…tanti campioni sono in difficoltà fisica…già lo erano l’anno scorso…insomma è un’occasione quasi clamorosa…probabilmente irripetibile

Palese occasione quest’ anno,probabilmente ultima della carriera, anche per il momento che i Big stanno vivendo (male Djoko, Waw e Murray) Fabio deve sfruttare anche il fatto che la top 10 a 2600 punti è prendibilissima.
