Novak Djokovic chiude a punteggio pieno il Gruppo A e si qualifica al primo posto nella Masters Cup di Londra (£5,500,000, cemento).

Il tennista serbo, n.1 del mondo, ha eliminato Tomas Berdych (ora ufficialmente fuori), con il punteggio di 62 76 (6) in 1 ora e 38 minuti di partita.

Djokovic dopo aver vinto la prima frazione per 6 a 2, nel secondo parziale avanti per 2 a 1 e servizio subiva il controbreak nel quarto gioco.
Nel tiebreak Novak è stato bravo sotto per 1 a 5 e poi per 3 a 6, ad annullare ben tre palle set (una sul servizio di Tomas), prima di chiudere set e match per 8 punti a 6, piazzando un parziale di cinque punti consecutivi.

Si guarda la differenza set (e poi game) negli scontri fra loro 3.
Quindi berdych ha 2 set vinti e 3 persi

Se tsonga vince 2-0 ha 3 set vinti e due persi e passa lui
se tsonga vince 2-1 passa murray. In ogni caso berdych quindi è fuori.
